Heidi Davis is a graduate student in the art
education department at IU. She has five years teaching experience as a
general elementary teacher and was a reading specialists for two years.
Her current research focuses on the educational benefits of pairing art
with reading instruction.
Hemali Jambusaria is a second year student pursuing her Ed.S. in School Psychology. She is an international student, who earned her under-graduate degree in Psychology. Hemali has been in the US for a year and the experience has been enjoyable and enriching. One of her biggest passions is helping children optimize their academic abilities, and she hopes to work toward this with a degree in School Psychology. She has enjoyed working at EIS so far and is looking forward to the rest of her practicum at EIS.
Amanda Ables is a second year graduate student in the School Psychology program at Indiana University-Bloomington. She is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. In her free time Amanda enjoys reading and playing with her dog, Tallulah. She is looking forward to a great year at EIS!
Kristen Krause is a second-year graduate student in IU's School Psychology program. She is originally from Wisconsin and did her undergrad at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in psychology. She chose to work in schools because they are ideal places to support all types of children, especially those who may be ex-periencing learning, social-emotional, or behavioral difficulties. She believes EIS is a great place and is enjoying her time here this fall!
Shannon Donahue is a second year School Psychology student at IU. She is from Carmel, IN and did her under-grad at Purdue University. She is still a Boilermaker but loves living in Bloomington and the Hoosiers! This is her second year working in EIS and is looking forward to future work at EIS. Her academic interests include search-ing for effective ways to help kids read as well as developing social skills interventions to implement in the schools. She hopes that both you and your children will benefit from the AWCP program.
Luke McConnell is originally from the great state of Nebraska and is now in Bloomington working on a doctoral degree in School Psychology. He is married and has four children, whose names all begin with the letter E. Everyone in Luke’s family has red hair except for him, so he is the odd man out. In his free time, Luke enjoys spending time with family, archery, and woodworking. He also enjoys spending time in schools and watching children learn and grow.
